ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kate Snow is an artist based in Chicago, IL. She completed her BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she studied multi-disciplinary sculptural techniques. In 2015, she began working with hot glue and developed a passion for the material. All pieces are made with hot glue and tinfoil.

"The most exhilarating aspect of working with hot glue is the pure experimentation. Every unintended outcome reignites my passion for boundless curiosity and play. As the material holds an element of autonomy, I persistently improvise and evolve in accordance to its will. Therefore, we collaborate to express the inner workings of my mind. Each piece invites inspiration, intimacy and exploration."
